In recent years, interest in a series of rhetorical pamphlets from the imperial and Byzantine era has been fueling, which, beyond the narrow circle of studies on ancient rhetoric, have received very little attention. Among them, the ars rhetoric that for centuries was attributed to Dionysus of Halicarnassus stands out, a manual from the imperial era dedicated to the composition of epidictic discourses. To previous works on this text we must add the study, edition and comment that A. Manieri (hereinafter M.) has made of chapters I and VII of the work of the Pseudo-Dionysus.
