Abstract

This monograph is the result of a workshop that brought together for the first time, on April 27, 2024, specialists in the works of Juan de Mariana (1536-1624) and Antonio de Herrera y Tordesillas (1549-1625). ), two agents of writing from the ancient and more recent past of Spain and its empire at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century.
