Abstract

The aim of the present study is to provide a comparative analysis of two essential books on the work of Thucydides that have recently translated into the Spanishand are now available in the Spanish-speaking editorial market. The study of the methodological principles becomes thus a perfect occasion to reflect on approaches and perspectives of contemporary criticism about ancient historiography in general and in relation to Thucydides in particular
